NOTE: I received this ice maker for free in exchange for posting a review here. After setting the ice maker up and adding water, ice nuggets started making their way out in less than 10 minutes. The ice bucket was full in under 2 hours, with about 2.2 pounds of ice. It can be a bit loud while running (around 72dB), but as soon as the ice bucket is full, it stops running.

Bought this for a Christmas gift for my wife. Icemaker makes great ice (sonic ice). It's a little noisy is the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars. It stopped working and customer service was great in getting me a new one sent. I hope this one last longer than 4 months. No complaints other than the noise. It does what it is designed to do.

Since my freezer does not have an ice maker this was the perfect option for countertop nugget ice! I did, unfortunately, have an issue with my machine but Newair customer service was awesome and quick about setting up a replacement unit.

We have loved having this ice maker at our school! We are able to use it for ice packs for students as needed, as well as for our cups! We LOVE the nugget ice pellets!!

The ice maker I currently have would be my second one and soon, I'll have a third one. Even though I'm obviously not having good luck with the ice maker I thoroughly enjoy eating the ice. It's the good kind of ice that you just can't quit munching on. I'm looking forward to receiving my third machine because I miss the ice. I haven't had any in a few days and I so miss it. I love the ice this machine makes!
