I purchased this for the same reason others have raved about the product. It makes perfect nugget/sonic/hospital ice on your counter top. It is also as quick as they say, starting to make the ice about 5 minutes from pushing the button. It does make some noise while operating so be realistic about this. It was sized well to fit under standard cupboards and is fairly easy to operate and clean. I have had issues with my units and worked with support on a number of occasions. I say with no reservation that they are the best product support I've experienced. They will patiently guide you through steps of setup as well as help in the case of mechanical issues. I found contacting newair support to be trouble and hassle free. I look forward to seeing what newair does in the future.

I am a spa owner and this ice maker is absolutely great for us and our clients. It's like having "Sonic" Ice all the time. It puts out ice very quickly and cleaning is a breeze! its great for small parties and events too!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this machine 4 months ago. We wanted something that would make small pebble ice. The machine is a little loud but we run it at night. I takes up a good amount of counter space but if you use ice frequently it's worth it. You need to clean it frequently to avoid the water from turning but it's easy to do. Overall, we enjoy the NewAir ice maker.

Our refrigerator ice maker has always been slow to make ice, so we decided to look for a counter top ice maker to help with ice production. Knowing we have always loved chewable nugget ice, we decide to give the NewAir Nugget Ice Maker a try. After a couple of months we are loving our nugget ice and only ice our NewAir Nugget Ice Maker for ice. Makes ice fairly quickly. Only con at this time is the ice maker is a little noisy due to the ice making process for the nugget ice. Well worth it in the end. Have also had to call customer service for help, Miquel was very polite and helpful and had my issue resolved within a few minutes.
