Best ice ever

We bought his in April and it has served us well making perfect ice for hot early summer days. Sadly, it broke recently, but New Air is working hard to get us a new machine!

Makes Ice Quickly

Makes nugget ice quickly. Bin holds a decent amount and is easy to clean

Legendary Ice, dismal reliability :(

I've owned 5 of these units. Unfortunately none of them lasted more than 2 weeks before they broke down.
The good: The ice pellets are chewy and amazing.
The bad: The unit is LOUD, like really loud - garbage disposal loud. I had a new units and 4 warranty replacement units. All of which failed after 1-2 weeks of use. Purchased originally in January 2021, we went through 5 units total that kept failing, screeching, locking up, etc through March 2021. Support was good and easy to work with, but the product seems to have some major design flaws.

After the 4th replacement NewEra refused to address the issue any more or issue a refund.
After much anguish over the lost $$$ on the NewAir, I decided to purchased a TaoTronics Nugget Ice maker in early April of 2021 and am pleased to report it is extremely quiet - quieter than my refrigerator and it has been working great for almost 3mo.

Finally - Nugget Ice!

Since my freezer does not have an ice maker this was the perfect option for countertop nugget ice! I did, unfortunately, have an issue with my machine but Newair customer service was awesome and quick about setting up a replacement unit.

Excellent Ice Maker!!

Bought this ice maker a few months ago and couldn’t be happier. Produces the perfect size ice in about 20 minutes and you are able to retrieve ice during production. Well built and looks good in the kitchen.

Can’t imagine living without this machine!

I bought this ice machine for my mom for Christmas this past year and to say it’s her favorite gift is an understatement. Everyone in the family is obsessed! It makes the perfect nugget size ice that you can chew on all day! My husband and I loved it so much we ended up buying one as well just a couple months later. We had a little issue with our machine, but customer service was so easily to communicate with and they were sure to fix the problem immediately. We are so happy with our purchase and will definitely recommend this machine to all our family and friends!

Love it!! Been looking for something like this for years. Makes lots soft, crunchy quarter inch ice nuggets. Have many cups of it a day. Comes with a handy ice scoop.

I loved how easy it is make ice. Very simple. I just love the nugget ice! It has spoiled me because that's the ice I prefer! Everything about the ice maker is nice ! Looks good on the counter too!
