Love this ice!!

We love the quality of ice this makes. My husband is a dialysis patient and has to be very careful with his fluid intake. This has been a life saver.

Nugget ice machine is the real deal

I purchased this for the same reason others have raved about the product. It makes perfect nugget/sonic/hospital ice on your counter top. It is also as quick as they say, starting to make the ice about 5 minutes from pushing the button. It does make some noise while operating so be realistic about this. It was sized well to fit under standard cupboards and is fairly easy to operate and clean.
I have had issues with my units and worked with support on a number of occasions. I say with no reservation that they are the best product support I've experienced. They will patiently guide you through steps of setup as well as help in the case of mechanical issues. I found contacting newair support to be trouble and hassle free.

Draining and cleaning

I just got this machine yesterday. I love the ice but there are two water lines on the back and no drain valve. I ran the clean cycle before I started using it. I am getting a film in my glasses and in the water when the ice melts. I do not see a way to drain it. How do I drain the icemaker and clean it out so that I get no more film?

I’m so happy to finally get this nugget I’ve machine. I love this ice. And the delivery was fast. It even came a day early. That doesn’t happen very often.
