Great range. Love the extra middle burner when not using the griddle. Also appreciate the large burner because it brings water to a boil so quickly. The temperature probe is a bonus. Used it for the first time Christmas & my prime rib cooked

The gas burners are a dream! They get hot fast. Still learning the oven features. Sometimes I don't think the oven heats up the way it should, but trying to determine if that is user error. Love the air fryer option! Great to fry things for larger groups or portions!

My range arrived defective out of the box. Had to replace. Replacement has burner and gas leak problems as well as loud clanking during convection. At least it looks good!

Let me start by saying that if I rated the oven on just its features and performance, I would have rated it a 5. I decided to give it a four because about 2months after we installed it, the oven portion broke and would not run. The cooktop was ok. The oven performed like a champ for our Thanksgiving dinner. It was amazing. But when we went to clean the oven the next day, the oven would get up to about 180 degrees and then shutdown and the control panel would reboot itself. Reading through the reviews we had found several people had the same problem. So we made an appointment for warranty service with a local appliance dealer who mercifully came out a week and a half later. Fortunately for us, this gentleman was extremely good, found the service bulletin on the problem and diagnosed the problem. It was the fan that had shorted out in the oven. He very astutely decided to order 3 parts: the fan, the electrical relay, and the control panel. He wanted all parts available when he did the repair. Thank goodness he did this because he needed all 3 parts to get it running again. He said he has never had to repair the problem again on ovens that he has fixed. So far so good. It has been working fine.
That problem aside, this oven is the best I’ve ever owned. It has great features and performs wonderfully. I have used every feature. Love the airfryer and use it on potato and meat dishes. No it doesn’t finish dishes as quickly as a table top unit but it achieves the same results, crisp outside and tender inside. The Baked Goods option results in superior cakes, piecrusts and breads. I’ve proofed bread with it and it worked great. My Thanksgiving turkey was a triumph using the probe and convection roasting. You have to read the manual and use the options for what they are intended and pick the right rack level. Also, you have to check your food earlier than you might with your old oven. This thing cooks DIFFERENTLY. You need to learn how to use it for the best results. If you do, you will love it.
I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the cook top cleans. Generally nothing sticks too badly and can be gotten up if you clean after each time you cook. I never reheat and cook again on the stove with grease and gook from a previous meal. Like most stainless steel, after some time the heat starts to cause a slight discoloration(browning). So I bought a bottle of Barkeepers Friend soft scrub and once a month or two use it on the cooktop and the discoloration disappears.
There is an option to increase the sound of the timer but it still is too low. It’s ok if you are in the kitchen with it but not if you are out of the room. GE needs to increase the volume. The stainless steel also can scratch real easily on the front where the grates are. Hard to prevent when you are taking them on and off for cleaning. I do love the self cleaning feature. The oven grates as well as the cooktop grates can be put in the oven and cleaned along with the inside.

Nice Range But...

We got the range less than a month ago and we enjoy it very much the features of the burners and the stove are endless.
However, after the second day we noticed some stains next to the burners and we were not able to clean them properly. They stay on even after using some stainless steel cleaner.

Easy to clean and great features!

I looked and looked and reviewed Consumer Reports before purchasing this stove and I’m glad I did. It slid in perfectly to the space in where my old range was. The cook top is easy to keep clean and I have already used the air fry feature. GE is known for their gas ranges. I don’t think you can go wrong with this model.
