Missing parts, malfunctioned 2 hour post delivery

My husband and I did a lot of research before choosing this range. We read all of the reviews online, good and bad, and noticed that a few mentioned issues with the electrical panel. We chose to ignore these because overall, the reviews were great. Side note: I'm very skeptical of appliances with all these wifi bells and whistles (this is a millennial talking), because it makes me feel like there's more margin for electrical error/issue, but my husband loved the wifi feature and it's a gorgeous stove with some great baking features, and we assured by several people that GE is a reliable company, so we went ahead and ordered it.
We received this range Friday afternoon. Immediately, the delivery team noticed that we had received two grill/griddles, and no center grate. GE was contacted and they offered to "expedite" a grate to us, which will be here in one week. Although slightly inconvenient and a little annoying, it's a minor hiccup. Wish the problems had ended there. . .
The delivery company tested everything, got the "off-gassing" started with the oven, and my husband successfully got his phone synched up to the wifi. Well, 2 hours after delivery the buttons on the electrical panel stopped working. The "bake" button starts the "proof" process, the options menu opens convection bake menu etc. and some buttons just don't work at all. The app stopped synching to the oven (so there's no way to actually control the oven at this point), but when we were able to get it up and running the electrical panel would flash what looks like static (happens every few minutes whether or not the range is in use) which shuts the oven down completely. So even when we got the oven pre-heating, it can never get up to temp because it keeps shutting down. Luckily, the cooktop works, otherwise we wouldn't be able to cook anything at all.
The oven almost appears as though it's been used, which makes me wonder if we ended up with a refurbished item (at full price), and that's why it's malfunctioning.
To say we are disappointed would be an *extreme* understatement. We bought this range to replace an old one in our first home. We took weeks to pick an appliance, felt solid in our choice, and were so excited for the delivery. I had plans to roast, bake bread and chocolate chunk sea salt shortbread this weekend, but unfortunately, we ended up with a very serious lemon.
I'd like to give this range the benefit of the doubt, we are likely going to do an exchange for a new range, but I'm very skeptical and wanted others to be aware of our experience. I will follow up with our experience if we get a replacement.

This range was installed 11/02/17. I have used the oven to bake three times. When the products did not come out quite as expected, I installed an oven thermometer. Today, I discovered that the oven temperature was more than 50 degrees lower that the temperature I set (on Bake) when the controls indicated that preheating was finished. After another 20 minutes, the oven came up to 25-27 degrees less than the set temperature. I raised the baking temperature 25 degrees to compensate. I will be calling for service already. Also very annoying is that no manual comes with the range; you must use your own paper and toner to print the manual. Considering the cost of this range, I consider this to be really cheesy, especially since the manual is essential to using the "settings" function. Also, there is no lip around the upper edge of this range so there is a small space between the countertop and the range where food, etc can fall down.
On a positive note, the burners operate very well.
Assuming that I get prompt service and an oven that heats a lot closer to the set temperature, I will revisit this review. I must rate this down on performance, quality and value. As matters stand now, I would not recommend this product.

Brought to the house broken

This product was delivered, brand new. The fan was making a loud noice. The repair man came out to the house immediately. The wires were wrapped around the fan. Soon to find out that the broiler, air frier and thermostat did not work. Now I have to wait 2 more weeks for the repair man. In addition, we purchased a refrig with an ice maker that did not come with the parts. So I get ice that shoots all over the floor when it is used.

Poor Design Engineering

Delivered and installed yesterday. Black stainless model received did not have same design as regular stainless model I saw in the store. This black stainless model has a rubber gasket between the range top and control panel. Gasket started pulling out the day of delivery. This was apparently used to conceal the poor fit between the range top and front control panel. Grease and cleansers will ruin this in less than 6 months and will require perpetual replacement.. Sloppy design. Silicone rubber buttons that the grates sit on will also need periodic replacement. The cut out at the center of the range back is only about 6 inches high. If your gas feed pipe is taller than that, you will need a plumber to resize the pipe so that the range will be able to fit against the wall. We baked in the oven the first time today. It took 21 minutes to heat to 425 degrees. After installation, we noticed how the handle for the storage draw sticks out and is a potential tripping hazard. Handle should have been recessed like many earlier models. The LED brightness on the range electronic display does not match that of the GE microwave that it is paired with, so the appliances look mismatched. I have purchased GE ranges, microwaves, dishwashers and refrigerators for 30+ years. My last GE range was over 20 years old, and working fine. We replaced the range to match the new microwave. We could not find a black ( non stainless) GE convection microwave to match our old range.

Now you're cooking!

This is just a beautiful appliance. I replaced a standalone model with no issues of oven venting. Except now I have a backsplash to design that fits the rest of the kitchen. I gave my daughter the "honors" using it first. In no time she had batches of cookies coming out, with both racks coming out evenly. Even the smallest burner is a few thousand more BTU than my old one. Plenty of space for 4 pots or pans. You could even sneak in a small 5th one in the middle. So hi-tech your going to have a millennial help you with some of the features. Two different convection settings is a great idea. It's almost turkey time!

Gas Line Features

I'm very pleased with the stove. I wish the sales person had mentioned the change in design of the rear of the stove from previous years. The back of the stove does not fit flush with the wall because there is no indented place in the rear of the stove as was in older stoves. That means having a carpenter, which means additional expense.

Oven failed after first self clean

It looked wonderful in the show room.
We were very happy until the first self clean cycle (after about 3 months' use). After this the oven would not work.
We hoped and expected that a high end range like the GE Profile would provide years of reliable service.
