Good to look at, not to cook on

Because gas range has sealed cooktop, if spillover occurs while cooking and spill goes under cooktop, you must schedule service/repair to have them open cooktop to clean it up. Because spillovers do happen, why didn't GE provide a better cooktop to allow owner to clean. The reviews I read did not mention this as problem and I did not realize that this would be a problem before I purchased this.

Perpetual Electronics Issues

The cooktop works fine but the oven has had ongoing issues with the electronics and is prone to shut off with out any interaction from us at all. Have had techs come 2 - 3 times to fix but the problem persists. I would not recommend GE products after this experience.

Brand new touch panel bad

The touch panel was bad upon delivery! Installed a few days ago and the oven doesn’t work. Stove top works great. We had to have a repair man come to our home with a range that was just pulled out of the box and we can not even use the oven. The repair man said he has to replace the entire touch panel (once again on an oven that has NEVER been used). So we will be going on 2-3 weeks without a BRAND NEW oven that does not work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just bought this a month ago. Just had it installed. Touch pad screen stop working before I ever used the oven.

Great range. Finicky oven.

Range is excellent. Stainless steel wasn't my first choice, but unfortunately, it's the only option. My gripe is with the oven. If you check other reviews across different sites, you'll see a pattern where the oven will just shut itself off. Ours was 2 days old when it happened the first time, and has since happened about every 3rd-4th time.

I would have loved this range if it would have worked RIGHT FROM THE START! YOU WOULD THINK BUYING SOMETHING NEW ANDSPE DING GOOD MONEY WOULD GET YOU A GOOD PRODUCT. I WAS HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!

QUALITY - Very poor build quality. Missing, stripped, angled screws all over. Bent metal and mismatches.
USEABILITY - Bought this range because ad didn't say anything about wifi, but if course it has it, and you must use it to get the air fryer to work. What??? Then spent three hours getting it online. Tech support was great! Walked me through restarting my router, phone and range to get it working, but all so unnecessary...
DESIGN AND OPERATION - Good although the larger burner design allows spills to get down inside where they can't be cleaned. Needing wifi to enable air fryer is crazy, just a way for GE to get our info...
