Invasion of privacy

It's not disclosed until you receive the stove that you have to download their app to unlock all the features of your stove. It's a really stupid feature. There is zero reason for them to know your geolocation!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quality is good but designed wrong

Top is not easy to clean , it is too deep , I clean my range surface every day infect after every time I cook which is generally twice a day plus there is gap between the surface and front knob panels which is not at all easy to clean

We're happy to see that you are getting good cooking performance and everything. That is always something we strive towards. However, we're really sorry about the trouble keeping it clean. That can be an overall frustrating experience to deal with.
We do have some tops that can help out some. Wiping it down after each use, really helps out a lot with keeping a nice look. Water and vinegar solution or mild detergent is the best. As for the crevices, we definitely would recommend looking into cleaning brushes that can help reach these spaces.

Dream Slide-In

So far so good. The top of the range offers wonderful cooking options with the power burner,and low simmer on the front left burner. The Grill/Griddle/Grate option gives the center burner many different uses. Love all of the oven cooking options- make sure you connect to Wi-Fi to keep your software up to date to get all of GE's latest cooking modes. The oven racks are smooth. Storage drawer is better in this GE oven than most other brands. Looks so amazing!

Excellent stove

We needed a replacement for not very old (10 year) Samsung, which failed one of burners. This is major upgrade! Not only slick design, but excellent functions including wifi makes this product the best for the price.

Too “smart”

Had to connect to phone before air fryer worked. Then, next day the screen locked. Power reset didn’t work. Had to connect from phone again.

Why do i have to download the app to use air fryer

When trying to use the air fryer feature, it wouldn’t allow us to until we downloaded the app. That took forever and didn’t seem to make any sense.

Nice quality range with good features. Operates smoothly and relatively simple. Our first gas range ever so it is a learning experience. Unfortunately the clicking sound it makes during lighting is similar to our dog’s collar so the dog goes bananas every time it is activated. Does not install flush to wall so had to have our granite guy come back to fill in the 1 1/2” gap ($$). Downside to a slide-in unit we didn’t know about. The Wi-Fi feature isn’t very useful, app doesn’t really give you any control or info worthwhile. We like it so far but in retrospect would probably considered a unit without the fancy features and cost. One of few brands that were in stock and readily available without a long lead time.

I love the look and connectivity. The built in cast iron grate is also usable. For the price I feel like there are a couple things it should have/offer. The bottom drawer is for storage only. It should offer a warming or proofing option for the bottom drawer. Secondly and probably most importantly it should come with sturdier roll out racks that all other ranges in the price range offer.
