I purchase the range less than a month ago. Are use the air fry option and some splatter was it in the oven. So I used the steam clean feature which asked my glass on the oven door. GE told me there’s nothing They can do it’s not in the warranty. I even have a three year extended warranty and it will not cover what has taken place on the oven glass door. I will never buy GE again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice Range

I bake and cook daily so I need a workhorse of a range. The oven works great in that the heat generated seem to be on par with the temperatures required by my various recipes. The stove top also works great. My two gripes with the range is how very easily the stainless steel get scratched and how difficult it is to clean in between the knobs given their close proximity.

We 1st purchased this while living in California. We like the configuration of the stove that doesn't limit the size of pots to the size of the grate (We canned veggies). The center griddle is fabulous and the oven temps are spot on. The entire range is easy to keep clean and with a little stainless steel cleaner it always looks brand new. Sold the house in California and the wife said they picked my home because of the range! We moved to Indiana and purchased the same range for our new kitchen. I'd buy it again if I had to.

Unpacked it and the stainless steel is scratched

Love the range, except I had to call GE to get a technician to come out and look at the scratches - I thought they would just replace it since it's brand new.

Air Fry!

The air fry feature (with NO preheat) is wonderful and so convenient. The entire oven is so well designed and intuitive. I am looking forward to using the griddle. This is the gas oven for you if you want an oven that preheats quickly, accurately holds the temperature and is incredibly easy to use.

Good burners. Air fry is a gimmick.

Air fry is pretty much convection oven. Good if you have a large family and lots of items to bake at once.
A separate exhaust fan makes noise even after oven is shut off.
GE app is minimal. Not useful for any vegetarian cooking barcodes. Idea is innovative though.
Sad that they only offer powerful burners with very high end ranges. Not really an innovation to charge premium on.
Central burner could use some more btu.
Innovation idea: have burner holes placed in a grid and turn on according to size of pan used for efficient heat transfer.
