It’s a TEN!

I can’t express my joy when my range arrived. Thrilled to say The least. My 30ish old DCS confection gas range had seen much better days. The GE profile gas 30 inch fit perfectly and looks just as nice as my last range. With the exception this GE range works! I love cooking and baking again! Very pleased with this oven and cook tops performance. The only thing I’ve not used is the flat top / grill. Otherwise it’s a 10 out of 5.

Not working out of the box

What an expensive piece of junk. We got this brand new and the oven does not work. One of the burner knobs also do not work. After waiting for an entire year without a proper kitchen during our house/kitchen renovation, we were eagerly waiting to cook again, but this is sorely disappointing. Worst part is that GE will not replace this for me, they will just keep sending out techs to repair. Each time the tech comes, we need to wait a week for parts to arrive, then they come again.
How can a brand new range have so many issues? Is there no quality control at all?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice looking , Air fry does not work without wifi

Nice looking and practical. Even heat from burners and good Tri burner.
The air fry does not turn on without WiFi. There is no explanation on why this behavior. I should be able to use my appliance offline without GE controlling my appliance. Please fix this.
The cost of the appliance can also be brought down without the fancy WiFi , and lower failure rate. Customer should have the choice.

Incredible Value ... Gorgeous looking ... Works Perfectly ... Large Front Burners are Perfect as competitors are no match in this price category! The Quality and Design match much higher-end commercial kitchen ovens. Heavy Cast Iron grates low profile sleek looking, coats self-cleaning racks. Awesome Electronic Control Panel! WiFi connect, so you can preheat your oven on your way home or from you couch! Also, connects with Nest, so that it will automatically turn off your oven if you are not home - a GREAT safety feature! Love Love Love this Range!!!

GE Knows stoves

I've owned many brands of stoves. I've also owned many GE appliances. The one thing I can say about GE is they know how to make a gas range.
The two GE appliances i've owned that stand out the most are 1) GE Profile gas on glass cooktop and 2) This range. Both have intuitive controls, rich features, and are just beautiful.
The GE kitchen app is awesome! I never have to turn the car around and drive back home to check if we left a burner on.
The 21,000 BTU double ring burner and the oval center burner were the two selling features for me. Cast iron is notorious for uneven heating. The fact that the oval burner has a center burner and 2 outer burner helps evenly heat the griddle. It took me a minute to figure out the knob for the center burner but because the center burner has 2 modes (1. just the round burner or 2. both center and outer burner), it makes perfect sense to control both modes with one knob.
Install was easy, I did it myself. I replaced the gas line with a new one which is recommended and I used yellow teflon tape to ensure a snug fit on all the connections. The product was level, I didn't need to shim any of the legs. The anti-tip mechanism was simple and straightforward. I have standard depth counters and this unit does not protrude too far from the surrounding counters, in my opinion (it was a worry of mine).

Bought this range just before Thanksgiving. Used it over the holidays and has worked as expected, absolutely no problems and oven temperature has been consistent with the set temperature. Downloaded the GE Appliance App to my smartphone which works good, I like the Remote Enable to preheat the oven and the alert when ever the cook top burner is turned on is a great feature (did not think it would be useful but the feature really is good to know when the cook top is on) as a guest inadvertently turned on the cook top when they were looking at the range and did not turn off the burner and I got an alert the cook top was on. A feature that would make this range perfect would be a built-in trim overhang to cover the gap between the range and the countertops. GE offers an accessory trim kit that uses 2 sided tape to attach to the counter top but still leaves a slight gap between the trim and the range top. It would be better if it was built in to the range top or attached directly to the range top and not to the counter top.

Classy Range

My new range is beautiful, and almost perfect! I love the heavy oven racks, and the chimes that tell me what's going on. Lots of info on the screen. High burners heat very fast. The oven bakes well. The only problem I have is that neither small burner goes low enough to cook a little rice or a sauce without boiling hard (I wish we still had pilot lights!). When I try to turn them down between ignite and off, the ignition clicking continues, so that trick won't work. That's my only complaint.

Bad quality control

Defective when arrived, oven would not stay on. Was replaced but second one worked about a month then that oven stopped working also. Was repaired under warranty. Working now for 6 months and very nice range both looks and performance but still worried because two defective stoves in a row seems to indicate a manufacturing problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
