Looks are deceiving

Purchased this oven roughly 2years ago and what a nightmare it has been. While it looks very in nice in the kitchen, it is very unreliable. Getting the oven repaired has been a debacle. The fact that it even needs repairing (again) is mind blowing. Beware - you could end up with a lovely range that you can't use. Safe to say I won't purchase GE again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First Time Gas User Is Impressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got our new GE Profile gas top electric over on 11/19/25. So far, I've finished off a rack of ribs in the oven and made a frozen pizza. Best ribs I've made. The gas cook top is new to me but I am figuring it out. There are different burners for different uses. I've used the back small one the most, so far. There are a lot of features that I need to explore but by just winging it, I had no problem figuring out how to set the temp and timer on the over. I am impressed by how fast the over preheats. My old over always took forever to heat up, even when it was brand new. So far I am impressed with the ease of use and how easy it is to clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So far, so good

I had this range installed as part of a kitchen remodel. It replaced a 19 year old range with only basic functions. I was concerned that there would be a steep learning curve to figure out the oven controls but so far I've found them to be very intuitive. I'm looking forward to using the probe this week to cook my Thanksgiving turkey. I'm also pleasantly surprised at how easily the storage drawer slides.
So far the only negative is the oven racks; they are very difficult to get in and out. Even the racks in my 19 year old oven slid in and out easily; I can't say the same for this oven.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently replaced a 20-year-old KitchenAid range with the GE Profile PGS930YPFS, and the difference is immediate. The burners heat quickly and evenly, the oven performs far better than what I was used to, and the convection and air-fry settings genuinely improve the results. It also looks sharp in the space, and the fingerprint-resistant finish does its job.
