Outstanding appliance

The GE Profile range is handsome and easy to operate. Its cooking capacity is outstanding with sturdy grills that accommodate our cast iron cookware. The griddle in the middle also serves as a trivet. The burners and oven deliver consistently good heat. The stainless steel finish is easy to clean. We are thrilled with this appliance that adds an architectural flair to our remodeled kitchen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent range, very happy

I’ve had my GE range for about 1 year. This is a fabulous appliance! The burners are commercial grade, versatile and the range top is easy to clean. The oven is exacting with temps, lots of versatility with cooking and baking options, love the quick clean option, too. I know electric is better for even temp baking. You might need to rotate your item once to even out the internal temp, but other than that I am very happy with this appliance. I don’t give high marks unless earned.

Love this range, except for.....

I would have given this range 5 stars except for these two things.
The racks in my oven have all ready been replaced. But they are still hard to slide in and out. They stick and that should not happen.
The covers on the burners are very hard to clean.
The controls and dimensions are great. The finish is so easy to clean.
I love my range.

We do recommend rubbing the sides of the racks with a little bit of cooking oil, this will help the rack slide in and out. Did you know your burner caps on your cooktop are dishwasher safe? So, for those tough to clean spills, you can place them in your dishwasher and let your dishwasher do all the work. This range is a great unit, and we know you will continue to love it! Beautiful but the oven fan is sort of loud

The oven is beautiful and the flame control is superb. The oven fan is loud at 70dB so this might be a warranty issue because we're not sure if that normal.

Hi GE, I am an interior designer; have done quite a few kitchens and bathrooms in recent years. My clients usually go for the very high-end, seemingly splurge-y ranges and fridges. I did not in my smallish kitchen. I purchased GE range. It is clean and lovely in looks (important to me) and functions beautifully. I am very happy.

A senior having to use tech lol

I like this range, especially the burners. The high BTU burner and having a functional center burner. I had a GE Profile previously and lived that one too. That one had the griddle burner as well; but, it was RARELY used. So, I really appreciate the added center burner. The thing I’m not thrilled about is the timer. It is barely audible when it goes off; and I wished it would display so I can see how much time is left to go. I’m 66 and not too tech savvy. Perhaps using the app on my phone will prove to be helpful.
