Great New Features

So far I love my new GE Profile Oven. I love the new features such as Air Fryer and Steam Clean. It also has WiFi and Bluetooth but not sure what I would use these for. I will have to read the manual.

I'm having concerns about the burners being so close to the side edge, 5 1/2" with most other well known brands being around 7". Using the most common pan of 12" it will hang over the counter a bit if you center the pan to the burner. Converting the range over to propane I found many screws missing that would hold panels in place.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Needs better venting

I purchased my GE range a couple of weeks ago and while in the appliance store I purchased a different brands stainless backsplash/duct/vent without knowing about all the problems with GE's. Their optional stainless backsplash was apparently discontinued for quality problems. The one I chose is not recommended unless you are an very experienced DIY'er (picture attached).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had a professional Thermadore 27 years old that broke down. The new GE is a very nice unit and I am totally pleased with both appearance and performance . Excellent product

Very good range

We've had it hooked up about 3 weeks. What we've done so far has us very satisfied. There is a bit of a difference from the previous electric range so we're figuring it out as we go. We really like the faster heat on the top burners and the fact that we're not left with a hot surface for an extended time.
