Great looks and features

Had been using the gas range for past 1 month, the experience has been really nice. The other day my wife was baking and asked me to increase the timer and I did that from my mobile app.
Overall its givea a nice look to my kitchen a must have appliance if you are upgrading.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great range, terrible gimmicks

The range looks great and the regular range features and settings work as they should. The scan to cook feature in the app is a joke. I scanned a pizza and it just told me how to cook the pizza so I didn't have to read the box. The only difference was that I could start the oven from my phone and start the timer from my phone. (Big Deal! NOT) The frozen pizza setting is also a joke. Whoever thought that you didn't need to pre-heat 5.6 cubic feet of space before you bake something? I made another pizza using this option and the oven wasn't up to the set temp before the time went off. The timer chime needs to be A LOT louder. If you have any other noise in your house, you most likely won't hear the chime when it is done. I haven't tried the air fryer yet, but everything I read about that feature points to this not being as good as a counter-top air fryer because of the design. Making a pizza the way I did with my old oven works great in this oven and I do like getting a notification on my phone when the timer is done since I don't always hear it in the next room. The GE Marketing department needs to calm down on the hype of the gimmicks that this range has.

I haven't had it long enough to do a thorough evaluation. Haven't had time to try all of its features, but so far, I'm very pleased. I'm impressed with how quickly the oven heats up. There is an array of burner sizes but sometimes the appropriate burner for what I'm cooking is not in an ideal position. It can be difficult to stir a simmering sauce when it needs to be behind a large, tall pot of water coming to a boil. I like the tiny simmer burner in the center of the larger burner. I wish all the burners had that. (I once had an ancient stove, probably from the 40s, that all burners had the tiny simmer center.) The low setting on all burners is set as low as they will go, but they are sometimes still too hot. It's not too much trouble to use a flame tamer. From reviews I'd read, I expected the stove surface to be hard to clean, but so far it wipes up very easily. I'm looking forward to trying the convection & air fry features.
