Nice range with some exceptions

This is by far the nicest range we’ve ever had. The range is easy to use and I’ve enjoyed cooking with it. I’m a little disappointed that the stainless steel cooktop scratches so easily. Great care is needed when removing and replacing the grates. I’ve not been impressed by the air fry feature. I seem to get better results with my counter top air fryer. Overall good purchase with the exception of the scratched top.

I had an Samsung, but had so much trouble with it holding the temperature, but loved the features.
For the GE:
-- I wish that the front panel tilted more, so that I could see it. Since I am tall, I have to squat down to see the screen.
--I like the coated racks
--I wanted to roast some vegetables, but it said I had to use some sort of app--why would i have to use an app to use my oven??????

Looks great and works great. Only wish it had come with a printed “How to “ manual. I did find it on line, however. I have tried regular baking and air fry so far and both have worked well. Burners on stove work well too. It does seem to give out a lot of heat when I bake…which is not great when cooking in the summer.

Great Purchase, Great Brand

Back in 2004 we purchased a GE Profile 30" Slide-In Gas Range, JGSP48WQH4. In 19 years, it was only serviced once for an oven thermostat. Last month we replaced that stove with this new GE Profile slide in range. It was a no brainer in deciding which range to purchase and all of our expectations have been exceeded.

The appearance was something that caught our eye. It looks great in our kitchen and the additional space without the typical back controls is nice. We are still working our way through using the cooking features. So far so good.
