Great stove with handy features

This stove replaces a 20-year-old stove that I loved and was reluctant to part with, given that many new products these days don't seem to be manufactured with the same high-quality standards as in the past. I was happy to find that my new stove is not only a high-quality product, but also includes many new features that were unavailable on my old stove. I also love the handy storage drawer. From day one, I found the stove very easy to use as most features are self-explanatory or intuitive. My only problem was in setting up the Wi-Fi for the air fry feature. After several attempts I was still unable to connect the stove to my Wi-Fi, so I contacted GE. With the GE representative's help, my stove is now up and running. Note: If you are purchasing this stove to replace an older 30-inch stove, be advised that because it has five burners, the four outer burners are positioned at the very edges of the stovetop, so pot handles may project over the kitchen counters more so than with a four-burner stove. It's just something to be aware of. Also, because of the many reviews I read about the stovetop being difficult to clean, I bought a StoveGuard stovetop liner at the same time I purchased the stove. However, I have not used the liner as I have found the stovetop easy to clean, and I do a lot of cooking. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase.

I love my new stove. Its so beautiful and so up to date. It's so amazing how fast things cook too. Cleaning the stove is a breeze too. The steel finish will never pit like my previous stove and will always have that continued shine. The best stove I ever purchased.

Great Gas Range

I owned a previous GE range that I was not impressed with. I decided to stay with GE to give it one more try and I am glad I did. Impressed with this range so far!

Still works well after one year

This range replaced a much cheaper range that was past its prime. So far I’m really happy with it. I wish I didn’t have to connect it to wifi to use the Air-fry or Convection Roast options. It took forever for me to actually connect it since regular bake works well for roasting and I have a separate (but small) air fryer. When I finally used it, the air fry option didn’t work that well. Oh well!
I’m also always having to adjust the temp or time when I use convection bake. My understanding is that convection bake is about 25 degrees cooler than what is shown so 350 is actually 325 during baking. The instructions provided are not clear on that or if the oven automatically adjusts it for you.
Overall I love my oven/range. The burners are set up in the right places, the heavy cast iron griddle/grill option is good to have, and it still works well. I only deduct one star out of five because wifi is required for some features for absolutely no clear reason (except to force us to connect to wifi and the GE app) and the convection bake function is confusing and doesn’t seem to work like I think it should. Oh, and I don’t know if this is just my model, but I thought I could remote control it through the wifi/app but the option is not available to me.
I would recommend this to a friend!
