As a first time Gas Range owner I love it… It is reasonably priced and does the job well! Love how quickly the oven pre-heats… only wish it was self clean vs “steam clean”

Awesome Range from GE Profile

My first GE range. I live in Ecuador and I was thinking of importing a range from the USA as I am an Ex-Chef and Baker from the Northern Atlanta Georgia area.
I went to my local upscale store called SuKasa and lo and behold I saw the GE Profile Gas Range with Convection. I did some reseach and purchased it.
From day one it has worked as well as some of my more expensive ranges that I have used in the past.
Works very well, the oven is perfect and the controls and oven door stay very cool to the touch.

What an upgrade!

I feel like we hit the appliance lotto. We upgraded from a basic range to this range and put it in the island. It looks great and the features are awesome. I love the connectivity to the app so I can see how the status of the range and how long it has been running. After switching from electric this feature give a a security piece of mind. Also love the air fry!!

We replaced a 3 1/2 year old Whirlpool range that was in need of its 4th repair. Our new GE heats up more quickly and has far superior knobs. The burners have extra features, along with the built-in air fryer feature and the durable griddle. I love the ease of keeping the stainless cooktop clean.

The range is beautiful and cooks well. I am still learning how to air fry and use a convection oven put so far so good. I do wish there were sponsored video tips on how to best use settings. I accidentally had mine on the Sabbath setting(which is very cool they offer that for my Jewish friends) but finally figured out how to disable that setting. I have not been able to download the manual yet due to poor internet. It also looks as if some settings are wifi only? I am not sure if I will be getting actual wifi in this rural area. This may be the only draw back. It just may be too smart. If you are not willing to read and learn how to use it then you will not be using it to it's fullest potential. I do still love it and will start learning how to use it the best.
