Beautiful, modern and full of features!

I love our new gas range by GE. Everything about it is absolutely perfect. The different burners for boiling, simmering, heating and the long one in the middle
really makes it the best all around tool for cooking. I’ve been using it for 3 weeks and haven’t even come close to utilizing its full potential. I’m so glad I chose this range over the others because of the value and quality that comes with the GE name. GE are the only appliances I’ll ever buy.

We haven't had a gas stove for many years but it's a joy to cook on gas again. The iron plate in the center is a good for thawing frozen items as well as making pancakes or bacon.

Fabulous free standing oven

I have cooked many things in the oven, but have not even used all the features it has yet. So far I am more than pleased with the way it cooks the recipes I've tried. My husband loves the stove top. I find him in the kitchen using it which is a first for him! All he did before was boil water!! Thank you GE Profile.

I love this range! It is beautiful and heats things quickly. The oven cooks well and I can't wait to try the air fryer feature on this range. I love the center oval burner for large pots. My daughter- in - law loves hers too.

doesn't work right out of the box

Gas valve and igniter has to be replaced straight out of the box. Very disappointed with this purchase. Still waiting on the parts. You would think a big name like GE would do better.

We converted to gas and this range fit perfectly. So far the stovetop has been great and the oven heats up fast and cooks well. Only downside would be the small middle griddle but I don’t think you can get much bigger with a 30” range.

A lot to like, some not so much

The good: the oven looks great and performs great. The 5 burner set up is new for me and I love it. Especially the two high btu burners. The 5th burner and the grill plate is also nice although I find I don’t use it much. The oven maintains heat well and seems to cook to exact temperatures. The Wi-Fi connectivity is nice as well although it was a bit of a chore to get set up. The display is bright, easy to use and read, and front facing so no concerns about water seeping in and shorting it out.
The Bad: it has been quite some time since I purchased an oven and it seems (like most things) the quality of materials has declined significantly. The storage drawer seems like it’s made out f an aluminum can and it is quite small. The construction also seems a little flimsy. There are spaces in the seems where two pieces of metal connect and while not glaring they are noticeable and “cheapens” the look a bit. Finally, the oven also does not come with a manual. I realize there is one online but it is not easily accessible and it’s difficult to find answers to specific issues. Not a huge deal but it matters.
The Ugly: the first 5-7 times I used the oven my house was filled with the smell of burning plastic! I have read online that it is some sort of protective coating that burns off (?) or perhaps the installers did not remove all of the plastic wrap the oven ships in. Either way it’s disturbing and I deducted a full star just for that. It has since faded but something you should be aware of. Also, as stated above, the Wi-Fi set up was a hassle.

Overall I am enjoying the oven. It is not without flaws but if I can get another 15-20 years out of it like my last one I’ll be pleased.
