Wonderful upgrade!

I upgraded my 15-yr old 4-burner GE profile free-standing range to this 5-burner slide-in model. I love how there is no vent in the oven door so the burner knobs don't get hot when the oven is on! However, be mindful of pots on the rear right burner when you are using the oven - they will get hot. The other thing that is different is because there is a convection fan, the fan runs intermittently even when on conventional bake, and will also run after you shut the oven off to help with cooling it down.
Before installation, you may want to check the location of your gas valve on the wall behind the range. Our gas pipe/valve stuck out of the wall by about 3 inches in the center back of the range. Our old range (not a convection oven) had a recessed area in that location on the back of the range, so it wasn't a problem, but this new one (with the convection fan) didn't have a recessed area in the center of the back of the stove, but rather it was on the right hand side, so we had to have our plumber move the gas valve to the right by about 6 inches so that the range would slide all the way back to the wall (without the valve moved, there was a 3-inch gap between the range and the wall, where items could fall).
The other thing to do is to buy an oven thermometer to test the oven temperature compared with the set temperature. We found that we had to calibrate our new oven up by 9 degrees in order for the temperature on the screen to match the actual temperature in the oven. There are instructions in the online manual for how to do this, but it would be easy to think that the oven isn't working properly if this step isn't taken!
Love using the griddle that comes with this range on the center burner! You can make pancakes, grill steaks, etc, and it's cast iron so the cooking is very even.
Love this new range!

Very nice upgrade from old range

This is definitely a premium range. The burners have very even heat and have a greater range of heat adjustment than previous builder grade range. The look and feel of the burner controls and the touch are very good. The inside of the oven does not quite have the same premium look and feel. However, it’s not bad. And one of the big reasons I purchased this model was for the enameled oven racks that can be left in the oven during the self cleaning cycle. Overall, I’m pleased with this range.

We do some serious cooking in our home. That being said, though the cast iron grate tops are heavy, we like the easy wipe-up stainless steel surface and self cleaning option. Convection oven works great for baking. The center griddle option is fun. Very pleased with this higher-end oven model so far. Hopefully this last us for years to come.

Even oven temperature makes for great cookies

Still getting use to all the new options, but so far its fantastic. I never used a convection oven before, first time making cookies I used two levels and they came out great. Could not do that with the prior stove. And the convection roast cooks faster, made a small Prime Rib roast that came out great. Used the air fry option with french fries and again came out great without having to flip them halfway through. Only had the stove for two weeks and still getting use to it, but so far its great.

Love it, only wish it came with a manual

Had this oven installed in February. Love it so far, but with the money I spent I think I should have received a product manual. National Appliance told me that I can just print one out on my own. It’s 64 pages long and not everyone has access to a printer.
