I have been using this GE range for about a month and I absolutely love it. It's easy to clean and has some terrific features. When you set the timer it gives a one-minute "heads up" before the actual time. This is great if you're doing something else - it gives you time to get to the stove. The top is very easy to clean and I really appreciate that. I haven't used it yet but am looking forward to the steam cleaning option. A great way to just keep the stove clean without much hassle.

I compared this range to a similar Samsung slide-in range. I knew the quality would be great since its GE, but I chose this one because I live in a small townhouse and the dining area is adjacent to the kitchen. I liked the professional look of the front of the range and the knobs, and the burners and top area around the burners are very easy to clean. In some other ranges, it is hard to get rid of wipe marks when you clean the cooktop. This one cleans up quickly and neatly. I also like the steam clean feature of the oven. In terms of cooking power, it is a power house with two high capacity burners, two lower level burners and one medium burner in the middle. It also comes with a griddle, which actually works very well for steaks. I'm very happy with this range and recommend it highly.

We had a new whirlpool cafe model and this GE Profile is a big step up. The burners are fantastic and out performs our other range.
