For many years we had a Caloric oven which we loved. We did not want to part with it, but were forced to when it ceased functioning. We replaced it with the GE profile oven plus above the oven and Avantium. Together they have made us wonder why we delayed!

excellent gas range. Two minor points compared to the Monogram counter top it replaced:
Compared to the Monogram cooktop it replaced
- difficult to get the griddle up to even heat from end to end without first burning off the cast iron seasoning and starting from scratch each time. (Monogram had a thicker SS griddle with a thermostat for temp control.)
- similarly the burners have good control at high and very low ends but getting a medium heat takes some practice; a problem the old Monogram did not have with dual burners.

Love 5 burners!

I love the 5 burners, front 2 have more BTU's and create nice even cooking. This is my firstslide in range and I love the extra room allows for larger pans. I cook often for larger groups and many times have all 4 burners going with larger pans and they fit much better
than my old range. Quality of knobs, oven racks and grates seem very good, grates are sturdy but not so heavy to make it difficult when cleaning. Oven cooks very well have not used convection yet. Also, oven preheats quickly.

Every thing one needs in a stove

The stove is a very nice appliance and very handsome as well. Fit the opening in our island counter top perfectly. I would have given it 5 stars but we had some issues with the first stove that was delivered but GE and our appliance store replaced the defective stove with a new one. We haven't had a chance to use the new stove much at all yet. Stay tuned...

Amazing range

I love this range. It looks great and has a lot of nice features. I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks. However, I love the power burner and the super low and fine control over the simmer. The oven is easy to use and as a surprise, I didn’t know it came with a proofing feature. Can’t wait to try that. Hope it doesn’t get too warm. The couple of downsides are that they need to make longer legs so it can be adjusted higher to match taller cabinets. I emailed GE and never heard back from them so that would be a nock on the customer service as well.
