All Around Beautiful Range!!

We wanted a slide-in range. Reading review after review, I learned that there are many other brands with good looking ranges with decent reviews, but we ultimately went with this model partly because of GE’s reputation, and because this oven has the look and features we wanted. One draw was the continuous cooktop. The grates are end to end on the stovetop giving it a higher-end look in my opinion. I struggled with keeping my black cooktop clean without showing streaks on my previous stovetop and the stainless on the Profile cleans very easily and looks beautiful all the time. It has 5 burners and an added feature is the middle burner is oval giving you the option to light only the center or the entire oval. With the oval lit, you can use the included, dual sided griddle. Also-one thing that was a must have for me was the oven probe. You simply set the temp you want your meat cooked to and insert the probe into the outlet on the oven wall and the other end into your meat's center. The oven shuts off when that temp is reached. No more guesswork or opening and closing the door to take a temp. Some oven features included are frozen for frozen wings, potato skins, etc. There is also a frozen pizza setting. There is a proof setting to help yeast rise. A sabbath function that allows the oven to run continuously so that the consumer can use the unit throughout the day for Shabbat-observant Jews on the Shabbat and Jewish holidays. Convection bake and broil are also options, as well as standard bake and broil. This oven also has a remote control feature that can be used with an app and works with Alexa, Nest and Google among others. So you can control-not just monitor-your food’s cooking settings. From this app you can select the oven function, (any of the oven functions I listed above) temp and cook time, or simply set a kitchen timer all from the app. Also worth mentioning is the steam clean, which is fantastic. You add a little water to the bottom of the oven, insert your cooktop grates and this oven cleans everything very nicely! No more struggling to clean your cooktop grates. I have had this oven a short time- but I have experimented with every function and everything works nicely. I LOVE this oven.

This oven is the best. This thing pre-heats in under 10 minutes, and the griddle is used almost daily. The wifi connection is convenient, and lets you know when your timer goes off or when it is ready. You can even turn it on from your phone if you need it warmed up before you get home. All in all, we love it! Would definitely recommend.

I love the stove top with 5 different burners. The 21k BYU burner boils pasta water with gusto!
Haven’t used the griddle yet but will soon.

I think it has a great look oven works well and good output on burners. Love it is both steam clean and regular high heat clean For the cost disappointed not fingerprint resistant SS. For higher end appliance this shouldn't be an issue. Also top of stove should not be SS difficult to keep clean should have used a porcelain/enamel or did it in black like model just below profile. I love to cook and do alot of it. Grates are nice but the cast iron should be coated. Again issue with keeping clean. The timer needs to be louder if not in kitchen can't hear it and volume is all the way up. Also slide in and does not fit have 3 inch gap and stuff falling behind all the time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice Heat - True Convection is the way to go

Love the oven. The convection bake option is awesome. I've baked chicken, pork chops cookies and cakes. It's all come out very moist and very evenly cooked. This does get rid of those hot spots in the oven. The stovetop has very large burners as well, so things get hot really fast. The burners also have a two in one low cook or simmer option to reduce the heat if needed. I've only had the oven for 3 weeks now, but definitely love it thus far.

So happy with this gas range. The cook top allows for larger pots and pans and we love how the grates are all the same level to move from one burner to the next. The middle burner for cooking on a griddle does not get as hot as we had hoped, but we let the pan get really hot prior to using now and it works good enough. Other than what everyone else has said about the stainless steel top scratching easily, which is a bummer, I am very pleased and would recommend. Very happy!
