Best stove for the price

We bought this stove because we love to cook and entertain, and we were looking for something that could keep us with our lifestyle. This stove has exceeded our expectations. The oven gets up to temp quickly and holds the it within the range so food comes out cooked precisely. The burners are powerful and ignite quickly. Plenty of space on the cook top for multiple pots and pans. Our favorite feature is the cast iron grill/griddle. Makes the best grilled cheeses every time.

Great BTU dispersion, oven is great. However.....

This range is good, great burners, the oven is working great for now.
HOWEVER.. the stove top stainless steel, scratches so easily, the ability to deep clean the removable burners is horrible. Oh and the steam clean option doesn’t work very well at all.

Cast iron grates are the best. Convection oven bakes my cookies to perfection.
The grill does the best pancakes. Controls are easy to read and easy to figure out.

The front left burner with variable settings allows simmering a large pot-not something my previous stove would do (the lowest setting still boiled!). The middle burner can be used for small pan-or set for griddle-which is also great! Can make 6 pancakes on it! I like the Proof setting for letting yeast dough rise. The SS surface around the burners is MUCH easier to clean than black on my previous stove. I LOVE this stove; well worth a little more money!

Reliable range that offers good value

We bought this model to replace an old range that had been very good to us through the years (also a GE Profile). We looked at a lot of other brands (both at higher and lower price points), but after reading so many positive reviews of this model online and realizing that this model felt like a better value than ranges from other brands with similar features, we decided to stick with this GE Profile. The brand has a strong reputation for reliability and we found this model to have a clean, attractive appearance.
