We haven’t had the range very long but so far we love it. We love the large cooking area, plenty of room for all the pots and pans!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Features... Poor Execution...
on February 10, 2020

This appliance is strong on features, yet sadly, poor on execution.
Firstly, every time we use the oven, there is an overwhelming smell of gas while it is preheating. I've checked the gas connection and am positive there is no leak, especially since it only smells like gas when we start the oven.
While this is not a show stopper, it would have been nice to understand this compromise prior to purchase, as our previous stove did not have this useless feature. :)
In addition, the Wi-Fi fails to connect to the most terrible application I have ever used. Frankly, I had not imagined using this feature; however, if uses it as a featured selling point, the darn thing should work. I mean, wireless these days is a no brainer, even for an engineer such as myself. :)
The long and the short is that considering the cost of this product, the size and breadth of GE along with all of the intellectual property GE creates and manages as well as the number of talented people/developers GE must have on staff; it seems to me that writing a Smart App and enabling modern features such as Wi-Fi for this stove should be a breeze for GE.
Frankly, my son's sixth grade class wrote a better Smart App than this terrible App GE is providing.

Very pleased

I purchased a new home with a horrible electric stove top and came from a home with a commercial gas range. As a foodie and seasoned cook/baker I researched this range. Other than having one of the largest ovens, the feature that I appreciate most is the center burner unit. Currently, the other highly rated stove tops have a one-piece oval unit as the fifth burner for griddle purposes, which I would rarely use. This one has a center low BTU burner as an option instead of lighting up the full oval. That and the front left burner also has two options--a very low BTU or the highest BTU available for fast boil. I am using all of the options regularly and love the consistency of the gas rings. The oven also is proving to be very consistent with temperature and the convection is excellent. I have already recommended this to friends looking for a replacement range.

I love that the dials are on the front so that they do not get too dirty.

Like everything except the griddle. It's ok, but small and not very useful for pancakes and such. Good enough for meats.

Powerful burner

The burners are powerful. The only thing I do not like is that the black burner tops stain super easy. Wishing the first few uses so that is a bummer. Everything else has been great! It’s a stove!

It takes way too long to preheat. When it beeps that it’s ready it’s way under the correct temperature. If I raise it then it gets too high later. Not happy with that

Easy to clean, cooktop breathes well,
on February 11, 2020

Likes: Easy to clean, air gets under and around the burners so it breathes well, therefore it cooks well and is easy to control. front panel controls are intuitive. The tri-ring burner has plenty of BTU's. Con: No exactly negatives, just things I would have done different. Switch the medium burner on the front right with the small burner that is on the left rear. I get air in the lines if I don't use it for a while (it is in our vacation home) It roars for four or five seconds, sometimes it even goes out with a poof! and has to be re-lit.
