My wife and I love GE but this oven is the best by far. Love how quick it heats up nd the fact that she can turn on the oven with her phone is a great feature

Gas leak then chemical odor

Had the first stove delivers and after 2 days, smelled gas. Turned out to be the control valve. Had it replaced and the 2nd stove had a bad chemical odor when you turned the oven on, even after two days when we were told it would go away. Had a tech come out twice. First time, the tech tried to upsell a hood, 2nd time my husband insisted that a valve be adjusted to reduce the oxygen airflow and the chemical odor significantly reduced. There is still an odor each time we start up the oven but it dissipates after 20 mins with the house doors open. We love the look of the stove so we are keeping it until we are have to make a final decision before the 90 day return date.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great burner design

Love the design of this stove! Now we get to see more of our back splash. The burners have great control and bring things to a boil faster than out our old GE (dual fuel) stove. The oven has made our pizzas even crispier than before in the electric oven.

So far this oven has ben a great replacement! My only suggestion would be the ability for the timer to be louder. This may be an option on the app.

The clock doesn’t keep the correct time. It slows wby a couple of minutes every couple days.
