Amazing upgrade

I believe we’ve used every feature offered. Everything has worked flawlessly. Convection bake, internal temp probe, griddle/skillet, simply perfect. There was a learning curve in regards to the burner strength. Our previous oven apparently had none, so what was a high setting before is now a 2-3. Took a couple of scorched meals to figure it out, but that is all on my lack of culinary skills, not the oven. I haven’t tried to smelt lead with the double burner on high, but wouldn’t be surprised if it could do it. Water boils very quickly compared to our old oven. We love it!

We are very pleased with our GE range, high quality equipment at a reasonable price. We have a professional chef in our family, so a well equipped kitchen is not a luxury but a necessity. This range fits the bill.

Love the product but installation tricky

This range performs above my expectations. I replaced an earlier GE profile range which fit perfectly. My counters are 37 inches high. With my old range GE supplied extended leveling legs which worked like a charm. I sold the old range along with the legs. GE doesn't supply the extended leveling legs anymore so that complicated the installation. Had to put spacers on the floor. Also, the new range is 30 and 1/8 inches wide at the back, not 30 as GE represents.That made the fit extremely tight. I could not shave the cabinets so we had to compress the sheet metal at the left rear of the stove. Once the range is in, you cannot access the the rear leveling legs like on the older models. So you have to calculate floor irregularities very carefully with a level or you'll have to slide the range out a few times to adjust. Whomever assembled the stove left two six inch pieces of metal channel inside. So far I like the range, but I wish it installed as easily at the last one. I've always purchased GE profile appliances, but I'll be more circumspect in the future.

The appearance of this range is lovely. It fits in my kitchen perfectly. I love the fact that the controls are on the front and not where they can be splashed or dirtied easily. the Oven vents in the back and goes directly up to the range hood. I have 5 burners and my cookware actually fits on each burner with out being obstructed by the raised back of other ranges. I love the convenience of cooking a steak or chicken on the top of the stove with the center grill. this stove has perfect settings for all types of cooking and simmering.
It also has a desirable feature of a temperature probe for the oven. The only think I do NOT like so far is the digital display. The numbers on the digital display are so close together that when it says for example 10:55, it appears like 0:55 because the number one (1) is too close to the number zero (0). I hope they can fix this in future models. For this reason only I don't give it 100% on the features selection. I still will recommend this range to others but I would point out the digital display issue.

My wife and I are very pleased with the quality and build of this unit. Nice features and very easy to use. Being able to lockout the gas burners is a big plus to avoid accidental ignition.
