I spent a lot of time looking at stoves. It was the first time we bought a stove in 20 years. Our former stove was a GE Profile so I was excited to get an updated one.
LOVE the stove aesthetically and it is defiantly an upgrade, although I burned my hand on the temp probe the first time I used it and really HATE the fact that the burner caps get stained easily and are hard to clean. So what to do? Learn to live with it because GE is fantastic, so we'll see what the future holds.

Great replacement for my older high-end stove

I was thoroughly disgusted with my older, very expensive stove company not having parts to repair a 20 year old stove. The GE drop-in fit in the same space and has many more features. I'm impressed with the Wi-Fi connection, the number of burners and simmer settings on the burners.

This gorgeous oven is a pleasure to us. The five burners range from the highest heat to the whisper of a simmer. Oven is spacious, with the third rack a nice touch. Attractive intuitive control panel with two convection settings--baking and roasting--genius!

Exactly what we wanted

We bought this stove for a kitchen remodel. We reviewed several makes and models and found this one had great ratings across several sites and Consumer Reports and a good variety of features. We like the variety of burners, the high heat burner boils water very quickly and the skillet burner in the middle is nice and versatile. We chose this model over other ones with skillet centers because you have the option of a round burner or oval - so you're not always stuck with the oval option. Only issue we had was the gas line placement - we had to move the line over so that the pipe would fit into the nook on the back and slide into the island flush. Set up was otherwise very easy. Connecting to the wifi is cool - we haven't used the pre-heat function from the app yet but its fun to know its an option. The overall look is beautiful, its easy to clean. We bought a floor model so it had a few scratches on the top so it may scratch easily but they haven't bothered us and could probably be buffed out if we didn't think our kids would eventually just scratch it up again!
