I can't connect to my servers.

I have 2 x ZyXel NASs for media and backup. My other PCs connect to them easily but this new Dell won't even show my wired LAN, let alone any wireless LAN. Why not?

Average laptop for schools if you don’t mind the average screen.

Computer is good with an average screen and keyboard. The white on grey keyboard lighting iis bad during daytime. Screen brightness is low compared to premium laptops.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To help with the keyboard lighting issue we suggest disabling the backlit keyboard when you are in lit areas. Below I have provided the steps to disable the backlighting and the full article link. Backlit keyboard options in BIOS
1. Click the + sign next to System Configuration.
2. Click Keyboard Illumination.
3.* Disabled or Off - The keyboard illumination is off.
*Dim - The keyboard illumination is at half brightness.
*Bright - The keyboard illumination is at full brightness.
4. Click Apply, and then Exit.

fits the bill

I needed a lap top that was not slow and the 5505 fits the bill it has a nice build light in weight it has back lit key board ideal to work in the dark and you can turn the back light off using the F5 key.I find it better off in the day light Its your choice the keys feel really good
