I really like the laptop a lot. Its light, its sleek, the screen is great. I thought I might miss having a physical left and right click button on the mouse pad, but the entire pad is clickable and clicking on the bottom left and right work like a left and right click on a mouse would work. Also, one thing I've noticed is that the wifi radio on this laptop outperforms both my work laptop as well as my desktop in terms of not dropping the connection. I use it mostly for personal and for managing my small businesses. I haven't really run any heavy duty software on it other than Microsoft office suite, but for that, the performance has been great.
I'm really enjoying it so far and would definitely recommend.

One of the best laptop for office and school work. AMD 4700U is a powerful processor. The screen display is not for creative work though bright enough after you do a quite bit of display calibration within windows 10 for your liking.(Bit time consuming to get it right). 16GB RAM version with 512 GB SDD would be a nice choose with this processor, if dell provides out of box. User upgrade to higher version is quite easy if needed too.

I'm loving my Dell Inspiron! It's very fast for what I do. I also love the details, like how the screen opens to create a good air space below the monitor and runs cool and quiet (vs my last laptop which would overheat with the fan was mostly on), how the speakers reflect off of the monitor, the calculator button, priceless for online teaching (I'm a math teacher :-), and the finger print log in is very nice and fast.

I chose this laptop as I wished to have a laptop suitable for both work and gaming without breaking the bank. The laptop is very responsive, with an excellent build quality. The keyboard is not perfect, due to limitations of the slim design, but is perfectly adequate for typing. The screen is clear, and video meetings work well with the inbuild camera and microphone. For gaming, the laptop is just about adequate. It will run about 10-15 fps for most graphic intensive games, but older games run quite well. I wouldn't recommend it if gaming was a priority. As an overall laptop, I find it perfectly fits my needs.
