I like the features, the screen, and the speed, but the build quality is awful. There is so much flex in the laptop that if it's not positioned properly on my lap, the mouse pad flexes to the point that the left click button pushes itself down, or is held down when clicked. At first, I thought it was just sticking. Then I realized I could left-click by pushing the unit from underneath with my thumbs. Not good. I expected more from Dell.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Blazing fast with excellent battery life. Beautiful screen and nicely backlit keyboard. Biometrics are finnicky and often don't work even with multiple tries but its not a feature that I really care about. Main suggestion would be to lose the calculator keys above the number pad and replace those the the standard Home, PgUp, PgDn and End keys. I missing having these as dedicated, non-Fn accessible, keys.

Love this new laptop. Very lightweight. Cool silver color. Fast processor. Lighted keyboard. The only downside is not enough hard drive space (only 256 GB). I purchased an additional 256 GB micro SD card - plug and play & easily transferrable, instead of installing another internal SSD drive. It's perfect now. I had been using Dell computer for many years at work. Never disappointed with their quality. Good job Michael.
