Very pleased with my new Inspiron 15 5000 Dell laptop. It is fast and perfect for work. With a 15.6" screen, it is light and slim, a big change from my old computer! This Dell model is very affordable and packed with great features.
So far, the Inspiron has been everything that I had expected. I like the size and weight of the unit, and so far quite pleased with the performance. I use it for business and it works very well for connecting to the office from home. The only negative, so far, is getting used to an offset keyboard to allow for a full keypad. Having worked with a Mac for many years, I've found adapting to the Dell to be fairly easy and straight forward.

Right size, right price, right functionality. Light, attractive, and features are great for mixed business/personal use. The keyboard is full-function with a number pad and comfortable to use.
The trackpad is awful. Constantly will not left click
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very fast, nice keyboard, the screen is decent (of course not XPS standard but they've got to cut back somewhere). It's also great that the system can be easily upgraded (RAM and with an extra SSD). For the money, this laptop is amazing!
Had problems 2 days later 2nd computer bought first one not from Dell but brand new. Battery problem. Returned and bought directly from Dell second one had internal problem and had to ship back. Quality control issue maybe make them in USA rather china

Its for my daughter to do school work so now shes falling behind. Quality control issues i guess. Maybe start having them made in USA
