I have purchased two 8 wired CB camera systems, 4 solar outdoor cameras, 6 water leak wifi sensors and 4 indoor pan and tilt cameras. I am a pleased customer in regards to the support, monitoring audio, video and live viewing. I enjoy having the outdoor cameras set to have their spotlights come on 24/7 when someone visits. I also enjoy turning on each siren to deter unwanted strangers who visit thr property. The quality of the products is excellent. I recommend Swann to everyone. I researched other distributors and feel that I made a great choice for quality and service.

Pan & Tilt Security Camera. Won’t buy any other kind.

We purchased the Pan & Tilt Security Camera with 2-Way Talk, Siren & Heat + Motion Detection and I wanted to use it a while before I gave my review. We mounted it high up and it gives a clear view of our downstairs allowing us to keep a close eye on our German Shepherd and Golden Retriever. This is our third Swan camera and it was really a no brainer when it came to buying this one. We really like our first two bought at least six years ago and still going strong. Swan I’m a huge fan!

Not impressed!

I do like like it’s small form factor, but that’s about where it ends.
It’s tilt function can be a little finicky sometimes, it can’t seem to accurately remember ANY of its presets and the IR filter keeps getting stuck so I have to reboot the camera.

Terrible

I bought this product based on the specifications, in practical use it is basically useless. The resolution is low, the response to control takes minutes which makes it practically useless. My WiFi signal is consistent 100mbit, I know my way around a network and there is no reason it should be this slow. Complete waste of money.

We are sorry to hear about your experience with your product. There are many variables as to why you might be experiencing these issues. If you are having problems streaming you can lower the settings and test to see if it improves. Note that lowering the stream settings does not affect the quality of the recordings. If you have very fast upload speeds you can set your camera to high, but if your upload speed is not that good then we recommend you use medium or low for the streaming setting.

Camera faulty

I bought this camera two years ago and it was working fine until recently and now it continually flickers and clicks and the screen goes on and off so much so that you can’t view anything properly. I’ve had to shut it down remotely as I was worried it would overheat and catch fire. I would’ve expected a camera to last longer than two years when it’s not used all the time.

Don’t buy!!

This is one of the most UNreliable tech purchases I’ve ever made. Spends as much time offline as it does online.
Continuously drops out even within 2 meters line of sight from the router.
I always thought Swann was a good brand, but I was very wrong.
I’ll be seeking alternative brands when purchasing this type of tech in the future.
I recommend not buying Swann products!
