I asked my husband to purchase this coffeemaker for me as a Christmas gift and I was not disappointed. Both the multi-cup and the single serve features work well and meet my expectations. If I was to comment on one thing I would try to fix in later models - the filter basket in the multi-cup pot requires precision in snapping it into place before brewing, or your coffee will not brew properly and will end up with coffee grounds dripping into the pot.

I certainly could go on about the really useful features, the quality build, beautiful style and function, but the real story is what it does: the best coffee I’ve ever made made at home. And probably the best coffee i’ve ever had. It’s been this way since the afternoon I brought it home. Fist time, every time. Three of weeks of anytime bliss.

I have had the unit about a month. I love the combo of the 1 cup feature or a pot. I had a similar model that made a pot of coffee and had hot water for tea. My old model lasted with no problems for 6 years till the auto program quit working, but it still made a pot of coffee. I love and use the auto program to make a pot of coffee everyone morning. Cuisinart is a little more expensive compared to other brands. However, I feel Cuisinart products are more durable and quality crafted. I also like the gold reusable filter.

After using another brand of coffee maker I feel that I have finally found a product that works like it is supposed to. After 6 Kuerig coffee makers in 8 years I was so "done" with their product. Now I get a full cup of coffee, a machine that is quiet, just an overall coffee maker that delivers what it says it will.

I've owned this for 1/2 year - no complaints. I enjoy the coffee maker and having the ability to make any size pot with whatever grounds I prefer - it what drew me to this coffeemaker. K-cup easy for the weekdays and pot great for other times. Noticed that water is starting to lose some heat - so I need to clean. Water I use is city - so its decent (no CLR). The coffee maker has a "clean" light that should turn-on when cleaning is needed, but has not done that. I do recommend and prefer over the Keurig for the main reason of having the carafe.

The first machine had an issue with the clock being 2 minutes per day too fast. The coffee maker was replaced under warranty. Thanks to Cuisinart for honoring their warranty.
As for the coffee maker...I love it. It makes perfect coffee, has an adjustable warmer and best of all, it makes the individual cups also. We use all the features every day and love this machine. I am a big coffee drinker and very picky & this one is the best on the market.

One month in and it works as promised. There is a bit of splatter at the end of a single cup brew cycle but it’s really only a bit. Individual timers for brew start and carafe keep warm function are nice. The coffee comes out hot and flavorful.
