After using it for the last 2 weeks I'm disappointed that the where water goes is hard to see, and hard to access when trying to pour a crafe of water in. Most of ends up going into the filter basket, or on the counter. You need a larger opening for adding water. The lid also interferes with pouring.
The single serve side is bad due to it spitting coffee outside where your cup is. You have to be your cup forward off the sitting place to get the coffee in the cup, but it still spits some our on the counter. There is lots of room for improvement for your coffee maker.
You need a 12oz setting for single serv, as most travel mugs are larger then a megane 10 oz.

The top of the kcup rips open when brewed and get grounds all over the inside of the kcup holder and into the cup of coffee.

I've had it for a month or so now and everything is working great. Only wish is that is was easier to fill the main reservoir. It would have been nice to have one slide out that both the coffee pot and k cup pulled water from.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Brewer is awful. I have to run water cycle between each cup and even then I still have at least cup explosions a week. I reached out to Cuisnart and they were not helpful at all.

Overall, my 12 Cup Coffeemaker and single-serve brewer works well. It is very easy to set up and to use. There is one major flaw. About 50% of the time i place a K-Cup into the holder and close the lid. It breaks the foil top wide open and spills many of the grinds from the K-Cup out into my mug and all throughout the cup brewing area! The only way I can avoid this is to push the K-Cup down until the needle at the bottom goes through the K-Cup before closing the lid! See picture attached. Is there a fix for this????
I have made several pots of coffee and that function works well.

3rd unit in 4 years and the only reason I have the 3rd it was under warranty. If I was not in warranty I would not have gotten this unit again. Biggest problem is the single cup system after time does not brew properly and the cups make a mess . The water reservoir also leaks. Don't let the Cuisinart name make you think this is a quality product, it is not!

Sorry but the coffeemaker didn’t measure up to normal Cuisinart products. We have a regular Cuisinart coffeemaker and we love it. The single serve combination didn’t perform well. Every time we made coffee it would indicate we needed to clean it. After cleaning three times we gave up. We always used filtered water and even for the last time bottled water. Not what we expected from this caliber of coffee maker.
