I bought this for my husband because he likes coffee from carafe and I like the k cup for convenience. There is not enough pressure on the k cup side as the stream of water doesn’t come down straight. The stream wiggles all over the place inside of cup which makes it splatter on carafe and counter. We’re using it but don’t like it as well as the keurig.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The only negative so far is while pouring water in the top, it is easily spilled.could be better designed to prevent this.

I like this coffee pot because I am the only one that drinks coffee daily. On the other hand when we get together with friends or family ( usually once a week) most of them like coffee so the 12 cup side really comes in handy.

Very disappointed in this coffee maker. The k-cup section keeps punching the paper off the k-cups so I get grounds everywhere!! It also sometimes spits and hesitates while brewing.
