This is the second Cuisinart we have used. The first is still working very well, but my husband wanted the latest coffee center. We use it daily and appreciate the ease of putting the water in, the hot plate that keeps the remaining coffee in the pot hot until all the coffee is used, and the individual cups for tea during the day.

This is my second Cuisinart coffee maker. We purchased this model because of it having the 12 cup maker and the single serve. Everything is working out fine but there are a few improvements that could be made. I use the coffee pot to measure and pour the water into the coffeemaker but with the added Single serve on the right side you have to pour the water from the front and the lid only opens so far so it's harder to empty into the coffeemaker. When you open the lid to get to the filter and water fill area any condensation from the inside of the lid drains down the back of the coffeemaker and puddles behind the coffeemaker. The last thing is the spray that comes out of the Single Serve when your using a shorter cup and is all over the counter, maybe like an adjustable shelf to keep the shorter cups closer to the top and not splashing as much. Otherwise we are very happy with the looks and operation.

Although we read some negative reviews we decided to purchase this coffee maker and send it back if it was defective.The bottom line is, it is everything cuisinart says it is and we are more than satisfied with our purchase.If you follow instructions and clean and change filters you will probably get positive results as we did.

I bought this coffee pot 5 months ago and it was exactly what I was looking for, the dependable features of a regular coffee machine and the ability to make a great cup of coffee, using K-cups. This does both without having 2 machines. I only buy Cuisinart, because of the quality and I love this machine. It also looks great!

I’m replacing an automatic grind and brew Cuisinart which has lasted since 2008. It finally started leaking. After researching I decided to stay with this brand hoping I would have the same experience. Unfortunately only two days(ordered 2/12 and received on 2/15) after I started using the SS-15 Combo the lights on the pod side kept flickering while using and turning off. After pressing on top and sides it would turn back on and would start again as if maybe something is not making contact. I’ve taken the plastic pods out and reset to make sure it was set correctly. It has continued to do the same thing off and on. Prior to this issue it was working perfectly well with pods or just running hot water(I’m a big hot tea drinker). The carafe side works really well. The coffee in both sides is really hot. That part is great since I like my coffee hot. I generally only make coffee in the morning and use the pod if I’m the only one drinking coffee. I’m more than likely give Cuisinart another chance and exchange it since the brand has been good to me. Overall, because of my experience with Cuisinart I would recommend the product. I really do like the combo concept. I only wish they would make the carafe side with a built in grinder and a pod side that worked better. Overall four star rating because of the pod not working consistently properly.

My original Cuisinart coffee maker was on its last leg and I had purchased a one cup maker that I wasn't happy with. My son had the Cuisinart 12 cup and single-serve and loved it. I visit him once a week and used his for a couple of months so it wasn't hard to determine which brand and model to purchase. Perfect coffee maker!!!
