Works great and looks good too but the distance between where the k-cup single-serve coffee comes out and the cup is too far which causes splattering. They needed to have a removable adapter to keep the regular size cups near the coffee output to reduce splattering but can be removed for larger cups.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very nice machine BUT each time I open the lid, the moisture that gathers from brewing drips all down the back of the coffeemaker. So my kitchen counter is always extra clean from all the wiping up! The lid should have been designed better to keep the drips from running all over. Other than that, it’s a good coffeemaker.

Leaked and didn't make good coffee. Returned & bought another brand, 1/2 the cost, makes both pot of coffee & single cup at 1/2 the price. Very disappointed in Cuisinart.

I absolutely love this machine. Takes up minimal counter space. Great for a full pot or single serve option. Only complaint.........the pour spout on the pot is horrible. You have to remember to pour very slowly. Otherwise, you have coffee all over the counter. Unfortunately, I do this way too many times!

I routinly brew a post of coffee, I like just coffee, and the do a K-cup with flavored coffee for the wife. I use what I do not drink out of the post in the moring for iced coffee the rest of the day. LOVE ther fesatility.
