for 2 people this thing is great no wasting coffee so we just use the single serve but if you have company use the pot.

We were able to eliminate both a separate Braun coffee maker and a Keurig 1 cup coffee maker to help maximize somewhat limited counter space. It looks great and both sections work fine and easy to use. We use the 1 cup portion the most and it is nice to have its own reservoir of water to avoid pouring separate cups of water as with the Keurig. Reservoir is only adequate for about 4 8oz cups before refilling but, fine for us.
The one negative from day one was the splattering of coffee as it pours into the cup (saw other reviews with similar comment). I was lucky enough to make my own cup stand from miscellaneous scrap I had and raised the cup up about 2-1/2 inches and problem solved ! My stand is mostly plastic so no rust, staining and easy to clean. Maybe Cuisinart will help me market it. Other than that, we love it.

I love that on days I'm home, I can brew a whole pot. When I'm rushing out or it is just too early, I can make one cup! Seriously I love it!!

This coffee maker works well and is easy to use. The only problem was the single serve pod holder is plastic with a hinged flip up lid. The hinge broke off in a couple of months and I had to order a new one. Instead the pod holder should have had a separate lid.

Sometimes I want just a quick cup of tea or coffee and thought this would be great. However, I have been very disappointed in to as it seems to spit water out all over my cabinet while it is filling my cup. Also doesn't seem like it gives me the 12 oz that I usually want. I have 2 regular Cuisinart and have never had issues with them.

It’s a 12 cup coffee maker but realistically you could only fill it to ten cups. More than that you will get serious leakage. That’s reason for four stares instead of five. Other than that I love it can’t imagine myself living without it :-)
