This was purchased 3 months ago and I have had some issues with it leaking water from the back. Unsure why it doesn't keep a good seal. Don't keep water in reservoir. Little bit of an inconvenience.

I bought this a couple of months ago and the coffee pot side works as expected, but the coffee pod side is a mess. It spurts coffee out in all directions and makes a mess, and every 5 or so cups the coffee pods explode and get coffee grounds everywhere. I have tried several different kinds/brands, so I know it is the coffee maker and not the coffee pods.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I find the detachable top of the carafe a nuisance. Constant removable will ultimately end in failure. No drip pouring is not worth it. You should provide a spare.

I was given this for a birthday present. I love the controls and they're easy to use. I especially like the fact that it lets you know when the warmer has turned off and I can turn it back on. I don't care a lot for the single serving feature as I have to set the cup far out on the stand and it spews coffee on the counter.

We are very happy with this coffee maker. It's great to have the option of using the pot or pod. Simple to use. The only negative is that it is a bit loud when it's brewing a pot of coffee. I would recommend this coffee maker. Always happy with our Cuisinart products.
