We've experienced a number is incidents where the carafe side does not completely brew all the water. And on the single cup side, all three lights will flash. I've performed a couple of cleanings of both sides, but it still happens

This is our second Cuisinart dual brew coffee maker although the first one only heated water on the side, it did not have a place for pods. But the one we had before lasted 14 years! Who has a small appliance that last 14 years. It was a no brainer to buy this one.

Looks wise it’s really nice and I love the single serve how easy it is and I love making hot water cups that fast for tea. BUT I can’t stand how small the area is where you fill up the area for the coffee pot. It’s awful!!! It was a gift but if I bought it I would return it and look for something similar with a better water pouring area. I have to move it out everytime just to fill it. Also there is a strong plastic odor and it’s been weeks of using it
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I absolutely love my Cuisinart SS-15 coffee station. I had another model for 10 years, so I knew when I upgraded I wanted another Cuisinart. I like that I can make a pot for myself or company and also just a cup with the single serving size. The included adapter that I can fill with the grounds of my choosing (not just pre-filled pods) is just great. The sleek look and design is a plus as well.
