This was our second purchase of this particular 12 cup coffeemaker and single serve brewer .We have own many of these coffeemakers, (started out 40 years ago with the Mr. Coffee). We keep buying the same product brand because it is dependable. If you make a pot of coffee and then a single serve YOU NEED TO TURN THE COFFEE POT BACK ON. That was the only problem, so problem simple enough after the thought process. Was about to return, keeping it and will continue to buy this brand.

I love the features of this coffee maker! It is so handy to have the ability to brew a full carafe or use single pods if needed. However, I had to take away a star because after only 8 months it developed a leak. Please note that I took away ONLY 1 star because Cuisinart Customer Service stood behind their product and sent me a replacement at no charge.

Great coffee maker for what you need in both necessities. Adjustable K-cup ounces and a large carafe brewing style system that is efficient and easy to clear. LOVE the built in filters in both water reservoirs, great coffee begins with great water. Nice touch. All in all, we are very pleased with our 12 cup coffee maker.

Product as described and the expected quality! Love having the option to make a single serve especially for guests who may want decaf. Being able to determine the shut-off between 1 and 4 hours is very useful when needed.

Excellent purchase for someone who wants to make coffee two ways without having two machines. I was very glad it used the Keurig-type pods, since I was replacing a Keurig and had many pods left. I wish it had a bigger water reservoir for the single-serve side - it makes three mugfulls before needing refilling. And since the reservoir is located in the back, I have to pull it out from under the cabinet to refill. So this is not an ideal machine for countertop/undercabinet use, but not a deal breaker either. I would buy it again and I recommend it.
