Absolutely love the coffee maker. Both regular pot and K-cup are very convenient to have in one appliance. Thank goodness for the 3 year warranty because the K-cup side failed twice at about the 18 month point.
I'm now on my third unit and if this one fails I'm not sure what will happen as this unit has been discontinued.

Owned Keurig for a few years and was mostly happy with it. They work great, until they don't. Then its off to the landfill. We choose this Cuisinart as my husband likes to add funky flavors to his 1/2 decaf 1/2 caffenated coffee, whereas i enjoy coffee flavored coffee. So this option allows us to have one brewer that does both jobs.
We also bucked tradition and this is our 10 year anniversary gift to one another. Much more useful than some silly dust collector.

I had two different Coffee Center® 12 Cup Coffeemaker and Single-Serve Brewers, my daughter had one also and we both experienced the same issue - exploding k-cups! What a pain to have to spend fifteen minutes cleaning up coffee grounds from the counter, the walls, the inside of the machine and more. I love the look of the machine and the size of carafe for brewing larger pots, but the K-cup issue was a deal breaker.....especially when the second machine did the exact same thing. Cuisart, please fix this.
