I was looking for a replacement single-serve to replace my current unnamed K-cup coffee maker. I wanted something that would last more than 2 years, make a great cup of coffee, and on the rare occasion we have guests be able to make a pot to share. After reading several reviews and consumer reports, I settled in the Cuisinart Coffee Center 12 Cup and Single Serve Coffeemaker and Brewer. Cuisinart delivers as advertised!
The single serves cups are strong and hot, and the wait time for a cup of coffee is minimal. Unlike other brewers, the warm up time starts with the first cup of coffee and it's delivered quickly and perfectly brewed! I use the Coffeemaker to brew hot tea, pour it over ice, and have a perfect pot of iced tea in minutes! The unit takes up a reasonable amount of counter space, which is an added benefit. Overall it makes a better cup of coffee than the competition and fits my lifestyle perfectly!

I love the coffee maker. Pouring the water into the "carafe side" is a bit challenging but not a deal breaker. I like the size selection for the Keurig side, but mostly use the largest setting. It is attractive and fits well into our kitchen decor.

Initially, it was a wonderful device, but then we had issues with the Keurig one cup serve. It needs close watching or water follows out of the dispenser.

I really like this coffeemaker because you have 2 options for use, single or a pot. However, I have had an issue with the heating element of the pot peeling. I hope I will not have that problem again…I am very careful about keeping the heating element dry.
