I love the flexibility of having a full pot of coffee or making various size single servings. The Cuisinart is quick to start and brew a cup of coffee and has multiple features including an auto off. Excellent purchase and I would recommend.

A stylish machine that makes great coffee, quickly

Sor far, I'm loving this stylish coffee maker that makes really good coffee, really quickly! And I love how you can brew a k-cup-style cup on one side while still keeping the pot hot on the other. I had a maker that would not do both at the same time, and it also was sloooow. Also, you can program it to keep coffee hot for up to 4 hours, which is 2 hours longer than any I've had before. Ok, I would prefer that the carafe lid were hinged so that I didn't have to take it off to fill it, but it's a small inconvenience. I also wish I could turn off the beeping when the brewing cycle is done, but again, minor compared to how otherwise great this coffee maker is.

Good option for single-serve and full carafe combo

Good all-around coffee machine. I got it because of the carafe and k-cup capabilities, as I wanted to be able to make myself a single cup of coffee anytime, but also have the option to make a full carafe for when visits came over. One thing that puts me off is that -for some unknown reason- every time I use the single-serve, coffee comes out with what looks like an oily film floating on the top. And these are not the k-cups as I have used several types, and also used those same ones in my office Keurig, and they don’t come out like that in the Keurig machine. Can’t really tell if flavor changes at all, but it just doesn’t look visually appealing. Also, the three different sizes from the single-serve are not too consistent every time. I do like the fact that it has a water filter, and that it is also compatible with reusable single-serve coffee filters, so I can use my own coffee.
