Honestly, the version of the product I had was defective out of the box, I called customer support, and they recommended I return it. The store I purchased it at did not have another one in stock to replace it with, so I went with another brand.

Love that this model will brew a pot or a cup. With brewing a pot, however much water you pour in the reservoir is how many cups you are brewing, no other setting to determine number of cups. There is a warmer plate for the pot, which is juice. It is a tad difficult to view how much water is in the single cup reservoir, as there is no window and it is dark inside!

Nice and compact. Works really well. The only reason for 4vstar is because the coffee cone holding the coffee has to be pushed all the way down (needs an extra little push), otherwise the coffee wouldn't drain into glass canister.

Both the carafe and single serve work perfectly. The coffee is the perfect strength (I have not used BOLD button yet) and hot. It looks beautiful on my countertop, I used the carafe only version of this coffeemaker for many years…I own a few Cuisinart products, they do not disappoint!!!
