Makes great coffee, but could use some improvement

We really like this coffee brewer. The only drawback is getting water into the main port. I discovered that I can use the port that holds water for the single-serve brewer to pour water into the main port. It fits nicely pouring from the right side of the port.

I have bought cuisinart coffee makers for years. And love them but not this one. The single serve when used the water wasn’t very hot just like warm.
Different times I made whole pots and evidently everything wasn’t in because it ran out all over my counter. Mind you, I have used Cuisinart for years. Never had that problem. And loved them. Just not this one!! Sadly I returned it. Now looking for another coffee maker! But will be cautious picking out my next one!

The coffeemaker and single-serve brewer is perfect! I have used the single serve to make bouillon and have the perfect cup of tea! The coffeemaker is an absolute in my house. Love the versatility of this product!
The only downside is I have problems pouring the water in the coffeemaker side.
The features are great - love the auto on feature so the coffee can be ready when I get up.

I actually returned mine because my kitchen smelled like plastic when I opened it and my coffee tasted like plastic as well. The smell went away in a few days, but that can't be healthy.
