I give it a 4 star because of the coffee pods keep bursting when you close the lid. I finally figured out to push down on coffee pod before closing lid down on coffee pod and it doesn’t burst! So basically you have to puncture button first by pushing down on pod then close lid.

It looks and operates great with 1 exception. If using refillable k-cups, other than the one provided, coffee leaks out from under machine, and you get 2-3 streams splashing everywhere. This does not happen if using the brand one that comes with this machine. I already had some, and since we like having more than one, I guess I’ll have to order another cuisinart brand.

This unit lives up to my expectations extremely well. After going through several other brands, I realized that my backup coffemaker was a Cuisinart carafe brewer purchased 15-20 years ago--before single serve brewers came available. I hope this lasts as long, but that one went back into storage.

Great product i drink tons of coffee so when my wife wanted tea she would have to boil water or microwave this way just drop in a pod and shes good plus grandkids love hot chocolate its now easy and no mess they can make it themselves
