Like the unit a lot. The only problem we are having with it is, filling the pot with the amount of water we need usually 8-10 cups then poring the water into the unit I have to lift the pot 10-12 inches above the unit to get all the water into the unit. The pot hits the cover. The other problem I have is my wife is short, so I have to make the coffee every time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Last coffee maker of same brand stopped working on the single serve side. Very disappointing. So, bought new one. This was only one of two coffee makers that had both single serve and pot serve. Hopefully this one will last longer. Other one lasted a little more than a year. Too expensive to have to be replaced in one year!

I got this so that my husband could make his k-cup coffees, and I could steep tea bags in the big pot. Works great! When we have company, the big coffee carafe comes in handy. I took away one star only because I find it a little awkward the way you have to pour the water into the back of the machine. Other than that - highly recommend!

I am very disappointed as I have had five pods explode on me and cleaning up my machine is very timely and messy. I believe that the lower needle is either deficitve or is missing.

I love the features of this coffee pot. It is nice to have the option to make a single k-cup or a pot of coffee for the family.
I like the fact that it takes all k-cups (which is the reason I stay away from the limiting “Krups” brand).
The reason I gave this machine 4 stars and not 5 is because the kcups do not always get pierced completely when making a single cup and the water does not go through, but around. (We work around this by punching a hole in the center of the kcup). Would love it if cuisinart would lengthen the pin on single cup maker.
Overall, I am happy with this machine.
