The coffee pot side of this product is five stars, as you would expect if you have experience with Cuisinart coffee makers. The single-serve side, however, is somewhat disappointing for one reason. The brewed beverage splashes outside the boundaries of the coffee cup. Rather than just pouring in a steady stream into the cup, some of the output sprays out wider than the limits of the cup and makes a mess on the counter. It's our first experience with a single-serve maker, and we're very disappointed in the mess we clean up each time we use it.

Love the style and functionality of the combo but we are now on our third machine. The k-cup maker has been an issue in all three machines to the point that we have to clean the input needle after each use to keep the pods from exploding and spraying coffee grounds throughout the brewing chamber.

after purchasing 3 failed Keurigs last year (never again!), I bought this Cuisinart and LOVE IT! Have had it a year now and no problems whatsoever. The only thing I don't care for is that the auto-off on the pot side (when the warmer turns off) can't be turned back on manually if there's still coffee in the pot. Still, I would highly recommend :)
