This is my second Machine and I have had issues with the k-cup malfunctioning both times, it literally explodes and coffee grinds get everywhere. I am extremely disappointed as this is not a cheap machine and the included single serve kcup is convenient to have (if it worked properly).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great brewer for our needs. However it sems to leak a bit at the water tank connection but it has not affected the operation of the unit, its a minor in convenience. We love the ability to make a full pot on weekends but have the daily single serve cup mode during the week.
